April Lockhart was born on July 4, 1995. In seventh grade she began playing guitar and taking piano classes, which ignited her passion for music writing. In the seventh grade, April began taking guitar and piano lessons. This ignited her interest to write songs. The year she turned 14 was when she spent a lot of her time writing song ideas and practicing her music. After that, she started taking trips to write with father in NY as well as LA. April included other subjects in her track"Take my Hand. These topics included topics for her friends who dealt with things like peer pressure and disabilities, or even teenage suicidal thoughts. Lockhart is a popular figure and is a lifestyle blogger with the renowned Ilia clean beauty brand. Lockhart was never born with a left hand, and that is what makes her who she is. It's just not the full story. The profile of Lockhart on Twitter does not ignore the fact that she is disabled, but neither does it concentrate on the fact that she is disabled. What message does it convey? There is more to us than just our physical self. The identities we have are complex and encompass a variety of dimensions. Lockhart says in a video interview with Lockhart in a video interview "I don't think that will define my character. I don't intend to have an impact on disability, because I've so much more to offer." The issue doesn't affect my everyday activities. I carry on my business as usual and have found my own ways to adapt. This is a major aspect of my existence, therefore it's important that we talk about the subject. Lockhart who is an inspiration for self-acceptance in general and is currently on a lengthy journey to achieve the goal. Yet, she confesses having moments that made her feel uncomfortable about her appearance and wearing clothing with arms. It's her choice to wear what she likes, and is proud to share photos of herself in these outfits. She says that self-love is a journey. I'm not sure when you'll reach the point of no return. It's a long journey. I don't think you ever arrive. I think it's vital to surround yourself people who are able to identify and feel your heart.
