Zazie Olivia Beetz was born in Berlin in 1991. ZZIE Olivia Beetz was born in Berlin the 1st of January in 1991. Jennifer Aniston attended the same high school as Beetz. Beetz studied French at Skidmore College after graduating LaGuardia. She began auditioning immediately after graduation from the college. After a few auditions in Atlanta Beetz was able to land the role of Van. Beetz is a native of Berlin and was the daughter of an ethnically mixed German father, and an African American Mother. They both grew up within New York. Zazie has been involved in acting since childhood, and has worked in many community theatres. Zendaya's Disney Channel Breakout role Zendaya's dance skills have paid off. Her casting was finalized for her debut role of Rocky Blue, along with co-star Bella Thorne, on the famous show Shake It Up. Zendaya went vegetarian at the age of 11after she walked past an animal slaughterhouse while when they were on the road. PEOPLE says that Zendaya told, "I found it horrifying seeing the entire animals that were being crammed into the slaughterhouse, waiting to be killed." It shocked me when I tried this way to get meat. The woman has since adhered to an all-vegan diet.
