Beautiful pics of Tamara Day and Sarah Stiles feet & legs
A baby was strapped to my back while the other crawled in the playground. I worked 12 hour days over months of sanding, and stripping wallpaper and with just one child. Ha! All was beginning to fall into place, however there was still a long way to go. In order to furnish the house, it was going to be an enormous undertaking both in both time and funds. It was also going to be a challenge go to my favorite stores. In order to stay within budget, I began by taking my sons to estate sales looking for of diamonds. Every week, we spent between Thursday and Saturday in estate sales and garage sales, buying old and new furniture. In the end, I repainted and smoothed in the driveway throughout the week. My love for furniture repair began with a look like this. When our home was furnished I couldn't stop! At the local market I set up a little space and sold some items. Then I bought more that I had no idea about and had outgrown the space. More than 1000 people came to my house in one weekend to buy all the things on the ground. Growing Days was founded in my home. In addition to my thriving business, I also had the pleasure of growing our family. As a young mom I was able to strike the right way to be able to begin my own business and also be a good mother. Growing Days seemed like the perfect combination. Nora my 4th child was born in 2013. While I was pleased with the direction that my business went, I was feeling like I had to take an occasional break. I took a break from creating furniture for vintage homes, and I slowed down my speed to be at home to raise the children. It was the right time. It rang once more after some time. People contacted me asking to assist them in interior decor and home renovations. The majority of people who contacted me came from people who attended one of my furniture open houses. In the following months, I began to take on more clients, in my own way. Then I was able to have many clients and I was running a business of home renovations. If you'd predicted that this venture of mine could become the premise of a tv show that airs on the DIY Network I probably would have thought you were crazy. It's true that I smile when I think about the idea.
